Job summary

ContextGlobal, Inc. is seeking ASL interpreters to support students, staff, and community members across Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) in Maryland.

We hire both certified and non-certified interpreters; assignments are matched to credentials. Pay ranges from $45 to $65 per hour, with Net 30 payments and direct deposit. Background checks proceed through MCPS before onboarding and reimbursement is provided after clearance.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and English voicing required.
• Completion of an Interpreter Training Program (graduates of accredited programs preferred).
• One year of experience as an ASL interpreter or recent graduate of an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective communication facilitation between multiple parties, working to and from ASL and English.
• Understand cultural and linguistic differences between communities and respond accordingly.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all assignments.
