Job summary

Gen is seeking a Customer Advocate, Trust and Safety to protect MoneyLion's customers and uphold integrity by investigating identity theft, unauthorized charges, and account takeovers. The role requires analytical, proactive, detail-oriented work within a regulated environment and cross-functional collaboration.

You will monitor fraud trends, apply AML/KYC standards, and contribute to fraud prevention strategies while delivering high-quality customer outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in investigations, fraud detection, or risk management in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of fraud detection methodologies and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with CRM platforms and data-analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into identity theft, unauthorized transactions, and account takeovers.
• Document findings clearly for legal discovery and compliance.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Fraud & Product Ops, and Customer Advocacy teams.
• Manage high volumes of cases with accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify process gaps and help improve SOPs and training materials.
• Mentor peers and contribute to fraud and risk management thought leadership.
• De-escalate customer interactions professionally and clearly communicate decisions.
• Monitor workflows and implement improvements without compromising quality.
• Participate in team meetings to foster a collaborative culture.
