Job summary

Citi in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Fraud Specialist to investigate potential fraud on credit card accounts and deliver first-contact resolutions with professional client interactions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a customer-facing or service role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong data entry and multitasking across systems.

Responsibilities

• Investigate potential fraud activity on existing credit card accounts, identify suspicious patterns and take appropriate action to protect clients.
• Address clients concerns by verifying recent charges and account activity, collecting key information to evaluate and confirm potential fraudulent transactions, and handling service requests with professionalism.
• Determine and apply verification procedures when processing client information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Deliver solutions to client issues by using available resources with limited supervision to resolve calls efficiently.
• Assess risk in day-to-day decisions, upholding Citi’s policies and ethical standards while escalating issues transparently when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine and apply the appropriate verification procedures when processing client information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Deliver solutions to client issues by drawing on all available resources, working with limited supervision to resolve calls efficiently.
• Assess risk in day-to-day decisions, upholding Citi’s policies and ethical standards while escalating issues transparently when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing, or service-oriented role, with a demonstrated ability to effectively handle and resolve client inquiries.
• Technical Agility: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems, with excellent data entry skills and the ability to multitask across systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Clear and confident communicator—both verbally and in writing—with the ability to engage clients professionally across diverse situations.
• Problem Solving: Strong active listening skills with sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
