Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Surveillance / Claims / SIU Investigator to independently investigate fraudulent insurance claims across workers’ compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability. The role involves data collection, interviews, and collaboration with law enforcement and state Insurance Departments.

The candidate should have licensure as a Private Investigator, and a minimum of five years in complex insurance investigations, with strong knowledge of anti-fraud

Qualifications

• Must hold a Private Investigator license as required by the state where work is completed.
• Minimum five years of demonstrated experience conducting complex insurance investigations or adjusting complex claims.
• Strong understanding of anti-fraud laws, insurance regulations, and compliance in home state and region.
• Proficient in using laptops and cell phones for field investigations.
• Ability to type 40+ words per minute with low error rate.
• Willingness to work varied hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims across multiple coverage types.
• Collect information via interviews, data gathering, and collaboration with clients and other SIU entities.
• Maintain detailed documentation for investigations, reviews, audits, and trainings.
• Produce clear, professional reports, memos, and letters.
• Run database indices and verify results accuracy.
• Develop strategic plans to meet assignment objectives and communicate with clients and SIU supervisors.
