Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Shopper Risk Operations Team Lead to oversee daily risk and fraud prevention efforts within a fast-paced fintech environment. You will manage a team, analyze trends, and drive improvements to reduce disputes and chargebacks while maintaining data confidentiality.

The role is a non-exempt/hourly position with standard business hours in the Central time zone and requires English resumes. Candidates experienced with AI tools will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years management experience or relevant experience leading an operations team in ecommerce or banking.
• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software (Google Suite or Microsoft Office).
• Ability to safeguard confidentiality of PII in documentation and systems.
• Experience analyzing data and making decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent business judgment and communication skills.
• Experience with Claude or equivalent LLM tools is required; comfortable leveraging AI to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Measure and track team and member performance.
• Ensure adherence to processes and policies to meet metrics.
• Analyze data to alert management on fraud trends and disputes.
• Identify process and product improvements to boost productivity and win rates.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet deadlines for chargebacks.
• Advise on staffing based on escalation volumes and complexity.
• Coach team members with guidance and resources for growth.
