Job summary

Q2 seeks a Senior Fraud Response Engineer to support the Fraud Response Team by developing, enhancing, and operationalizing fraud detection, investigation, and response capabilities across our digital banking platform. This role partners with Product, Security, Engineering, and Customer Support to address complex investigations and strengthen defenses.

The position emphasizes data-driven analytics, automation, and scalable tooling to reduce fraud risk while preserving a positive customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience implementing security solutions in public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl).
• Experience with GitLab/GitHub for CI/CD and version control.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical remediation efforts in high-profile fraud investigations.
• Build and maintain fraud detection, monitoring, and response tools across cloud environments.
• Automate security solutions and workflows to improve investigation efficiency.
• Collaborate with Security Architects to align with enterprise security architecture.
• Ensure alerting, monitoring, and escalation for fraud-related events.
• Develop automation to enhance data collection and investigation speed.
