Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Product Owner/Manager to lead cross-functional delivery teams in an Agile environment. The role collaborates with product managers to shape strategy, author and maintain the team backlog, and ensure delivery of digital initiatives with a focus on SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product/analysis/technology/design, strong technical acumen, and experience in banking or digital sectors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, design, technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Five or more years of banking, financial services, digital, or other relevant work experience.
Three or more years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience.
Three or more years of leading cross-functional teams.
Experience defining and delivering digital business initiatives to execute on a product roadmap.
Demonstrated technical acumen and ability to work with technology organization to align product and technology roadmaps.
Ability to translate strategic plans into tactical daily actions.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Comfortable managing concurrent projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Comfortable with ambiguity, leading work autonomously, and making independent decisions.
Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans.
Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online administration.
Advanced understanding of permissions, security groups, access controls, external sharing, and least-privilege practices.
Experience managing SharePoint lists, document libraries, content types, views, versioning, retention, and search.
Proficiency with Microsoft Power Automate.
Ability to translate business requirements into secure, supportable SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
Skills in troubleshooting, documentation, governance, compliance support, user training, and communicating technical information.
Experience using Microsoft Access with SharePoint Online, including linked lists, queries, forms, reports, and data validation.
English language fluency required.
Ability to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as directed.
Preferred: SharePoint functional and administrative initiatives, Microsoft Power Platform, Agile Product Owner experience, distributed teams, Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager

Responsibilities

Lead delivery team priorities in PI planning, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies
Align with product managers to articulate product strategy to delivery teams
Deliver new experiences and improve existing capabilities with delivery, design, business, and operations partners
Author and maintain the team backlog of user stories
Serve as subject matter expert on features, user stories, and product capabilities
Triage critical issues and communicate with concerned parties
Support development teams with clarifications and business validation focused on fitness for use
Update leadership on epic and feature delivery schedules, dependencies, and recommended solutions
Partner with solution architects and technical leads to balance client experience and technical integrity
Facilitate sprint planning, demos, and stakeholder alignment
Provide final acceptance for completed user stories against acceptance criteria and definition of done
Coordinate release-specific business documents, including support models, go/no-go approvals, release notes, and living documents
Ensure Product Management Lifecycle processes and procedures are followed, including security, risk, and audit requirements
Partner with product managers on evidence supporting recommendations
Execute product strategy for assigned areas based on client and company needs
