Job summary

betJACK is seeking a Payments Analyst to monitor and process payment activities, analyze player behavior, and generate insights that drive better business outcomes. The role involves collaborating with Accounting, IT, and Product teams to achieve betting goals while maintaining industry knowledge and applying best practices.

You will review transactions, monitor risk queues, and prepare leadership reports highlighting trends and predictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions.
• Experience in fraud prevention, payment processing, chargeback disputes, or financial risk management preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Review and process payment activities.
• Monitor deposit and withdrawal queues and prevent high-risk transactions.
• Analyze player behavior through payment gateway data to draw conclusions and recommendations.
• Perform high-level analysis over large datasets to produce insights that enable better business outcomes.
• Prepare reports for leadership identifying trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Analyze fraud and transactions reports.
• Dispute chargebacks.
• Communicate with third-party vendors to solve problems.
• Work across teams to improve the player experience.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with first level support.
• Collaborate with Accounting, IT and Product teams to achieve goals.
• Maintain payment industry knowledge and apply best practices or new ideas.
