Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks an Operations Fraud Specialist to review deposits and digital transfers for potential fraud across branches, RDC, mobile and ATM channels. You will train teammates, develop efficient procedures, and monitor transactions in Digital Banking to mitigate risk.

Strong collaboration with Leaders and the Fraud team is essential. Ideal candidate brings banking operations experience, a GED or higher, and familiarity with MS Office and banking software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of banking experience, preferably in operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn various banking software programs.

Responsibilities

• Review deposits and check items for potential fraud across multiple channels.
• Train and guide team members on workflows and workload management.
• Develop and implement operational plans, policies and procedures for efficiency.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders to drive changes and improve processing.
• Maintain procedure repositories and documentation for functional areas.
• Monitor Digital Banking transactions (Zelle, External Transfers) for fraud.
• Process affidavits and provisional credits, and communicate with other institutions.
• Provide first-line fraud review for In Clearing items and coordinate with Fraud team as needed.

Education
