Job summary

First Community Credit Union is seeking an Investigative Specialist I at our Copperfield headquarters in NW Houston. The role involves reviewing reporting systems to identify potential suspicious activity and potential BSA violations.

You will assist branches and back office on fraud matters, escalate findings to management, monitor account activity, and manage fraud-detection alerts daily, including researching and recommending SAR filings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of fraud investigations or risk management experience.
• Financial services, banking, or credit union experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor multiple internal and external reporting systems to identify potential suspicious activity.
• Assist branches and back office on fraud matters and escalate findings to management for review and action.
• Monitor account activity and run fraud-detection alerts daily.
• Research and recommend filing SARs.
