Job summary

You will review alerts, determine fraud vs. non-fraud, and communicate findings while collaborating with product, engineering, legal, and compliance teams. Strong analytical skills and detailed communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with expected graduation Winter 2027/Spring 2028.
• Interest in end-to-end fraud investigation processes and fraud typologies (Account Takeovers, Identity Theft, Money Movement Fraud).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently decide on potentially fraudulent cases.
• Effective written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, legal, compliance, or financial crimes.

Responsibilities

• Review and investigate suspected fraudulent alerts—proactive and reactive—using multiple internal and external tools.
• Use data analysis techniques to identify emerging fraud trends and detection methodologies.
• Identify and communicate fraud trends and findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Document rationale and determinations for each alert and submit referrals to other teams as needed.
• Occasionally communicate with customers regarding information on their accounts related to active fraud investigations.
