Job summary

SentiLink Corp is seeking a Data Scientist to build our fraud-detection models and advance our financial risk products. You will own your domain as an experienced researcher, collaborating across teams to explore new fraud types, develop data-driven solutions, and deliver production-ready code for real-time decisions.

You will work in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment with remote-to-office flexibility and opportunities to influence product direction and risk strategies in fintech.

Qualifications

• 2+ years DS work or 4+ years with Masters (or PhD equivalent).
• Proven track record solving complex business problems with DS/ML.
• Experience communicating outcomes to senior management.
• End-to-end DS development with planning, metrics, and buy-in.
• Strong ML/Stats knowledge; familiarity with SOTA is a plus.
• Willingness to learn fraud domain; startup experience preferred.
• Experience writing production code and tests.
• Detail-oriented and reliable for business decisions.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud detection models through the full model development lifespan.
• Build modeling to expand Fraud and Financial Risk products.
• Research new types of fraud and develop related SentiLink products.
• Iterate with new data sources and feature engineering.
• Write production-ready code for real-time decisions.
• Design and present analyses to inform data acquisition and product priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering, risk operations, and data teams to ensure data access and quality.
