Job summary

SentiLink, a leader in identity and risk solutions, is seeking a Data Scientist to build models that identify fraudsters and advance our financial risk products. This full-stack data science role involves model development, analysis, and writing production code, with end-to-end ownership in a fast-moving environment.

You will collaborate with teams across the company to research new fraud types, engineer features, and deliver analyses that inform product development, risk operations, and sales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and PhD, or 4+ years with Masters.
• Proven track record solving complex DS/ML problems.
• Experience communicating outcomes to senior management.
• Strong end-to-end DS development: planning, metrics, buy-in, production delivery.
• Experience writing production code and tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud detection models through full model development lifespan, from data decisions to featurization, labeling, training, experimentation, productionalization, and monitoring.
• Build foundational modeling for SentiLink’s Fraud and Financial Risk products.
• Research new fraud types and develop new products around identity verification.
• Iterate with data sourcing, feature engineering, and cross-team collaboration to drive product development and sales.
• Write production-ready code for real-time decision making by partners.
• Design, perform, and present analyses to inform data acquisition, risk operations, and marketing priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering, risk, and data teams to ensure data quality and access.
