Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Data Scientist to build core fraud-detection models and advance our financial risk products. You’ll work as an experienced researcher with end-to-end ownership, from data access to production code, influencing product strategy and customer impact.

You’ll collaborate across teams, research new fraud types, and contribute to real-time decision systems in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant work experience and a PhD in a related field
• Or 4+ years of relevant Masters

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SentiLink’s fraud detection models through the full model development lifespan, from data acquisition decisions through featurization, labeling, training, experimentation, productionalization, and monitoring.
• Build foundational modeling to drive SentiLink’s expanding suite of Fraud and Financial Risk products.
• Research new types of fraud and develop new SentiLink products around identity verification.
• Write production-ready code that can be relied on for real-time decision making by our partners.
• Design, perform, and present analyses informing data acquisition, product development, risk operations priorities, marketing, and sales efforts.
