Akerman LLP seeks an associate with 3 to 5 years of transactional franchise experience to join a national franchise practice that values collegiality.

The ideal candidate must have a desire to learn and grow in serving the franchise community, and experience with FDDs, franchise agreements, franchise registrations, default and termination issues, and miscellaneous franchise regulatory, relationship, and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of transactional franchise experience.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) in the jurisdiction of resident office location.
