Job summary

Authority Brands Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Director of Training to lead new-owner training across the portfolio. The role owns facilitator certification standards, builds the certification program, and leads Core and Brand Facilitator teams to ensure cohorts are taught by qualified facilitators.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in training delivery or learning and development.
• 4+ years of experience leading trainers or facilitators.
• Experience building and operating a trainer certification or train‑the‑trainer program.
• Strong facilitation skills with adult learners, ideally owners or managers.
• Ability to lead across multiple brands and partner with business leaders and operations teams.
• Franchise, multi-brand, home services, or dedicated training-center experience preferred.
• CPTD or similar credential preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the facilitator certification program across all brands, including standards, teach‑backs, assessments, and recertification.
• Certify facilitators on each curriculum and maintain a qualification matrix by facilitator and curriculum.
• Lead the Core and Brand Facilitators; set goals, coach performance, and evaluate results.
• Set the qualification matrix and facilitator load ranges; approve exceptions.
• Observe live delivery and provide documented feedback regularly.
• Own delivery quality, learner evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Share delivery findings with the Digital Learning Manager and instructional designers for curriculum improvement.
• Hold vendor training partners to delivery standards for their segments.
• Partner with operations leaders to reflect brand standards in training delivery.
• Facilitate training as needed to provide cohort coverage.
