Job summary

Saige Partners is seeking a Franchise Support Manager to guide new franchise owners from Franchise Agreement to First Dollar of Revenue and beyond. You will manage onboarding milestones, recruit resources, coordinate licensing, and set up systems while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will also provide ongoing business guidance post-launch to help owners scale profitability, expand mobile labs, IH resources, and go-to-market plans.

Qualifications

  • Experience in environmental testing, restoration, field services, franchising, or a related industry strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in franchise support, franchise business consulting, multi-unit operations, business consulting, or a similar role is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent onboarding timelines and a growing portfolio of 12–15+ franchise relationships.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to discuss P&L, financing, revenue growth, expenses, and profitability with business owners.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with entrepreneurs and independent business owners.
  • Understanding of the challenges, priorities, and mindset of a new business owner.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and keep multiple projects moving forward.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-growing, and evolving organization.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead project manager for new franchise owners immediately following execution of the Franchise Agreement.
  • Guide each owner through a structured onboarding roadmap and ensure all required milestones are completed on schedule.
  • Conduct weekly progress calls with new franchise owners to review milestones, address challenges, and maintain momentum toward launch.
  • Manage and track all onboarding requirements, including: Coordinate with mobile lab suppliers to secure financing and initiate the approximately 75-day delivery timeline for a fully equipped mobile laboratory.
  • Guide franchise owners through the recruitment of their Industrial Hygienist (IH), including connecting owners with recruiting resources as needed.
  • Coordinate the IH's 45-day training program.
  • Support business licensing and individual IH licensing requirements across applicable state and local jurisdictions in coordination with the technical team.
  • Ensure required commercial insurance coverage is secured in accordance with franchise requirements.
  • Assist owners in developing go-to-market sales and marketing plans, including identifying target customers and markets.
  • Coordinate setup of email, website, technology, and other required systems and platforms.
  • Facilitate access to accounting, operational, and franchise management systems.
  • Coordinate owner participation in initial franchise training.
  • Ensure owners obtain required apparel, branded materials, and other launch resources while adhering to brand standards.
  • Track and coordinate any additional requirements necessary to successfully launch the franchise.
  • Proactively identify potential delays, risks, or roadblocks and elevate issues to the Director of Franchising when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and status updates for each franchise throughout the onboarding process.

Job description

The Franchise Support Manager serves as the primary point of contact and project manager for new franchise owners from the execution of their Franchise Agreement through their First Dollar of Revenue (FDOR) and beyond. This role combines structured franchise onboarding, project management, and ongoing business consulting. The Franchise Support Manager will guide new franchise owners through the operational, licensing, staffing, financial, and go-to-market activities required to successfully launch their business, while continuing to serve as a trusted advisor as the franchise grows. This position will initially manage a portfolio of approximately 12–15 franchise owners, with the portfolio expected to grow as the franchise system expands. The ideal candidate is highly organized, business-minded, relationship-oriented, and comfortable working with independent business owners in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This is a Direct Hire role.

  • Serve as the ongoing primary relationship contact between the franchising organization and franchise owners after FDOR.
  • Provide ongoing business guidance and support to help franchise owners achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Advise owners on strategies for expanding their operations, including adding mobile laboratories, Industrial Hygienists, and other resources as demand increases.
  • Help franchise owners identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, sales performance, and profitability.
  • Conduct periodic on-site visits and operational audits to evaluate performance, compliance, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Identify recurring challenges and trends across the franchise network and communicate insights to leadership.
  • Recommend improvements to franchise systems, training, processes, and support based on feedback and field experience.
Franchising Department Support
  • Assist the Director of Franchising with vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Support efforts to establish national account relationships and partnerships that provide value to franchise owners.
  • Assist with the development and continuous improvement of franchise onboarding materials, playbooks, training resources, and processes.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve the overall franchise owner experience as the organization scales.
  • Support additional franchising initiatives and projects as needed.

Compensation you will receive as a Franchise Support Manager :
