Job summary

United Franchise Group (UFG) seeks an Operations Advisor for The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill to drive profitability and support franchisees in the assigned region. You will provide training, operational guidance, and coordination for new store launches while ensuring brand standards and reporting are maintained.

Candidate should have an AA degree or equivalent, restaurant and ops experience, and be prepared to travel up to 80% for field visits and launches.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 2–4 years related experience or training.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer/Google Chrome, and scheduling software.
• Eligible driver’s license and valid automobile insurance are required.
• Willingness to travel 70–80% of the time.
• Restaurant experience is a must.
• Sales and business operations experience and ability to read a P&L.

Responsibilities

• Implements franchisee store startup program, including operational training and marketing assessments.
• Maintains knowledge in all areas of operations and training.
• Contacts franchise owners prior to and after opening; coordinates pre-opening schedule, training, shifts, orders, and paperwork.
• Travels to stores and monitors performance; develops action plans to improve brand standards.
• Visits stores at least twice per year; trains and reinforces franchisees and staff on the franchise model.
• Examines P&L statements to advise franchisees on best practices.
• Plans regional meetings and supports with data collection and reporting.
• Maintains scheduling and daily/weekly reports in Outlook; supports regional operations.
