Job summary

Ten Thousand is seeking an Interior Design Specialist to establish and maintain interior design standards for its F&B franchise locations in the United States. The role focuses on delivering design solutions aligned with the brand while adapting to local culture and environment.

You will develop guidelines, manage store design projects, and collaborate with external partners to ensure consistent, high‑quality franchise interiors across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; Licensed Interior Designer or Architect preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain brand identity and design consistency.
• Experience collaborating with external partners and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of current design trends and best practices in the F&B industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to travel for new locations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design or project management.
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update store design guidelines reflecting brand identity across franchise locations.
• Establish standard procedures to ensure design consistency for new openings.
• Develop interior design concepts for new franchise stores and collaborate with partners to tailor solutions.
• Manage store design projects from inception to completion, overseeing timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with external architects, designers, and suppliers; manage materials and furniture selection.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and compliance with standards; propose improvements.
• Support franchise locations to maintain brand-consistent designs and customer experience.
• Provide training on design guidelines to partners and internal teams.

The Franchise Interior Design Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining the overall interior design standards for F&B franchise locations. This role focuses on delivering design solutions that reflect the brand identity while being adapted to local cultural and environmental factors.

• Develop and update store design guidelines that reflect the brand identity.
• Establish standard procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency in interior design across new franchise openings.

Design Concept Development

• Develop and propose interior design concepts for new franchise stores.
• Work closely with franchise partners to deliver customized design solutions that meet the specific needs and characteristics of each location.

Project Management

• Manage and oversee store design projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure smooth project execution by managing timelines, budgets, resources, and documentation.

Collaboration with External Partners

• Collaborate and communicate with external architects, designers, and suppliers.
• Manage the selection and supply of materials, furniture, and decorative elements.

Quality Assurance

• Conduct regular site visits and evaluations to ensure the quality and consistency of store designs.
• Review compliance with design standards and propose improvements as needed.

Brand Consistency

• Support all franchise locations in maintaining designs that align with the brand’s vision and philosophy.
• Ensure a consistent customer experience across all stores by reviewing interior designs and displays.

Training and Support

• Provide training on design guidelines and procedures to franchise partners and internal team members.
• Act as a consultant for design-related issues and offer ongoing support.

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Licensed Interior Designer or Architect preferred.

Work Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday ~ Friday
