Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) seeks a Regional Director of Franchise Operations to lead strategic expansion and performance optimization across the urgent care franchise network. You will drive market development, support new clinic launches, and ensure franchise partners achieve rapid, sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field.
• MBA preferred for leadership and strategy roles.
• 7+ years of franchising or multi-site healthcare management experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies for franchise systems.
• Strong understanding of urgent care operations, staffing models, patient flow and profitability drivers.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Experience mentoring and leading high-performing teams across multiple markets.
• Willingness to travel for franchise openings, development meetings, and market reviews.
• EMR experience preferred (Experity or other).

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute franchise performance strategies aligned with AFC’s goals and brand mission.
• Oversee onboarding and launch of new franchise locations with operational readiness.
• Collaborate with marketing and development to identify markets and entry strategies.
• Monitor franchise performance using key metrics like patient volume and profitability to drive improvements.
• Develop scalable frameworks and tools to guide franchisees for sustainable growth.
• Partner with operations and training to ensure tools and knowledge for performance benchmarks.
• Prepare quarterly performance and growth reviews for executive leadership.
• Maintain relationships with franchise owners, maximizing revenue, compliance and patient satisfaction.
• Represent the AFC brand at franchise and healthcare industry events.
