Overview
The Franchise Business Consultant is responsible for advising and assisting franchisees in all appropriate areas of their business. The Business Consultant will be assigned a territory consisting of approximately 50 restaurants. This position will work from home and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Accountabilities
- Achieves financial and operational results through effective oversight of operations programs and initiatives.
- Completes targeted visits to restaurants and Franchise Owners (FOs), providing exemplary business consulting services to drive their success.
- Plans field time efficiently, utilizing all systems and tools needed for effective visits.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as R&D, marketing, purchasing, training, etc., to launch and achieve results for operations programs and initiatives, ensuring all FOs participate.
- Builds leadership within franchisees; provides ongoing leadership related to operations management.
- Launches new operational programs, food products, or promotional items aligned with the marketing calendar.
- Ensures adherence to specifications, Standard Operating Procedures, and Food Safety procedures, representing the brand properly.
- Conducts operational evaluations and follow-up procedures.
- Encourages franchise participation in the Customer Experience program, using data to coach and recognize operators.
- Implements the brand marketing plan.
- Reviews P&L reports regularly, analyzes performance, and develops improvement action plans with FOs.
- Formulates action plans and sets deadlines for compliance and improvements.
- Maintains customer complaint resolution procedures and addresses issues at the restaurant level with FOs.
- Works through FOs to resolve critical issues promptly.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree with 5-7 years of experience in restaurant or franchise operations.
- Experience in quick service, multi-unit franchise operations, or hospitality industry.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Financial acumen, analysis, problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Proven leadership, motivation, accountability, and development skills for franchise partners.
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects with flexibility and urgency.
- High drive with a track record of achieving results.
- Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000
