Job summary

The Michaels Companies in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Lead Framer to guide a team of framers and deliver high quality custom framing solutions. You will coach selling behaviors, manage workload with the Store Manager, and ensure customer relationships are built around framing options.

Responsibilities include supervision, onboarding, performance coaching, inventory and safety programs, and acting as MOD. Nights/weekends may apply; retail environment with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in framing or retail management preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and coach a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to deliver on-time custom framing.
• Develop selling behaviors and drive custom framing sales.
• Assure SOP compliance and store standards.
• Coordinate workload with Store Manager to meet KPI targets.
• Support talent development, onboarding and performance coaching.
