Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a retail team member in Gainesville, VA to support the framing department and customer service. You will complete framing orders accurately and on time, maintain department standards, and assist customers with product selection.

The role involves operating the cash register, supporting omni-channel processes, and providing a clean, in-stock store environment. Evening and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop.
• Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
