Job summary

Michaels Stores in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Framing Associate to help customers build custom framing solutions and maintain a well merchandised store. You’ll assist with framing orders, operate framing equipment and the cash register, and provide friendly service in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities include completing orders on time, stocking frames, following SOPs, and supporting Omni channel processes. Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred; experience selling products and/or services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance and standards.
• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas as assigned.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers find products.
• Support Omni channel processes and safety programs.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and cash handling.
