Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in the Kansas City area is seeking a Store Associate to help customers find framing solutions, assist with shopping, and maintain a clean, well-merchandised store.

You will build relationships with customers, operate the register, and support framing orders with high quality and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include following SOPs, stocking shelves, assisting with Omni channel processes, and participating in truck unloading.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience and experience selling products and/or services.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Build relationships with customers while creating framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes.
