Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Monona, WI is seeking a store associate to assist customers, build custom framing solutions, and manage framing orders. You will maintain in-stock displays, operate the cash register, and support omni-channel processes in a busy retail setting.

Applicants should have basic computer and measuring skills, prior retail or customer service experience, and be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as part of a dynamic team at Michaels.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers while delivering framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas as assigned.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
