Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at our Madison-Middleton, WI location to help customers with framing solutions and maintain a well-merchandised store. You will assist customers, process orders, stock shelves, and ensure a safe, clean shopping environment.

Responsibilities include operating a cash register, supporting Omni channel processes, and adhering to SOPs. Retail experience is beneficial and you may encounter evenings and weekends in a busy store setting.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter is required.
• Retail experience is preferred and helpful for customer service.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and assist customers with framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain the framing department and stock in-store merchandise.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Support store safety, SOPs, and replenishment processes.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes as needed.
