Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Newtown Square, PA is seeking a Store Associate to help customers find and create custom framing solutions while maintaining a clean, safe layout in a busy retail environment.

You will build relationships with customers, process framing orders, operate the cash register, and support Omni channel processes. Prior retail experience and ability to work nights/weekends are valued. Employee discounts available.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders on time and with high quality.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
