Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at the PHI-NEWTOWN SQUARE location to build relationships with customers and create custom framing solutions. You will help shoppers find products, maintain an organized store, and process orders with accuracy, while adhering to SOPs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with omni-channel processes, stocking, cash handling, and delivering a welcoming, well merchandised shopping environment that meets company standards.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required for daily tasks.
• Basic measuring skills to assist framing orders.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

• Build customer relationships while creating a framing solution for their art.
• Help customers shop our store and be able to find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a safe, clean and clutter-free environment.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standard.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist with omni-channel processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
