Job summary

Michaels is seeking a customer-focused Retail Associate for its store. You will help customers shop, locate products, and prepare custom framing solutions while maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment. The role supports omnichannel processes and requires flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Experience in retail and selling products or services to customers is preferred. The job emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, and team collaboration in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers using Elevated ABC Deliver to create custom framing solutions and deliver sales targets.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and related areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products in a well merchandised store.
• Follow SOPs and company programs and support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact positively with others and uphold the company values and image; be a role model.
• Assist with truck unloading and stocking to meet standards and budget.
• Operate cash register and perform cash handling to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, locate products, and provide solutions; assist with Omni-channel processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
