Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Reno, NV is seeking a store associate to help customers create custom framing solutions and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

You will build relationships, complete framing orders on time, and provide friendly service across the store. Responsibilities include operating a cash register, assisting with Omni channel processes, and supporting truck unloading and stocking while upholding SOPs and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships while creating Custom Framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking to ensure standards are met.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate product and provide solutions.
