Job summary

The Michaels Companies, located in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a Retail Framing Manager to lead a team of framers and deliver exceptional customer solutions. You will drive custom framing sales, plan workloads with the Store Manager, and ensure adherence to SOPs while maintaining a safe, orderly store environment.

You will supervise inventory, participate in recruiting and training, and act as Manager on Duty as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a sales team in a retail setting.
• Basic computer skills for POS and inventory tasks.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach framing team to deliver high quality customer solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and collaborate with Store Manager on SOPs.
• Plan workload, schedule staff, and monitor KPI performance.
• Oversee inventory, shrink control, and safety programs.
• Provide on-the-floor leadership as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
