Job summary

Michaels Stores in Austin, TX is looking for a stores leader to oversee a framing team and drive custom framing sales. You will coach staff, manage operations and ensure framing solutions meet customer needs in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role supports store leadership, participates in omnichannel initiatives, and ensures daily store performance while maintaining a positive customer experience in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a framing team to drive custom framing sales.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to meet their KPIs.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and participate in talent development.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
• Support Omni channel processes.
