Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Framing Manager in Arlington, TX, to lead a team of framers in delivering high‑quality custom framing solutions and exceptional customer service. You will drive sales, plan workloads with the Store Manager, and uphold SOPs and safety programs in a busy retail environment.

You will interview, onboard, and coach team members, promoting a positive store culture while meeting KPI targets and ensuring on-time project delivery for customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in retail management.
• Preferred experience leading a sales team.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing plans.
• Ensure SOP compliance, inventory control, shrink and safety programs, and store standards.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of team members.
• Coordinate workload planning with Store Manager and manage Omni channel processes.
