Job summary

84 Lumber Company is seeking a Framing Manager to supervise and coordinate independent framing crews across projects. You will train, guide, and direct framing installation work, develop labor budgets, and maintain records for supervision and control.

Plan framing tasks, allocate work, manage materials flow, and ensure safety and contract compliance on site. The role involves daily site inspections, scheduling, and close collaboration with customers to address inquiries and ensure quality

Qualifications

Ability to read and comprehend documents; write routine reports and correspondence; speak/present in front of a small group.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; deal with problems in standardized situations.
Exercising discretion and independent judgment in responding to and adjusting common inquiries or complaints from customers.

Responsibilities

Managing the installation of wood component systems, doors and windows, siding, shingles, insulation, drywall and trim.
Recruiting independent subcontractors with proper licenses and insurance.
Labor cost budgeting and development of job scopes with schedules.
Daily jobsite inspections for quality and schedule adherence to blueprints and specs.
Conducting daily safety inspections and ensuring contract document compliance.
Preparing daily reports and field narratives as required by projects.
