Job summary

Michaels Stores in Missouri City, TX is seeking a customer-focused associate to help customers create custom framing solutions and keep the store well merchandised.

You will assist with framing orders, operate the cash register, and support omni-channel processes while maintaining a clean, safe store environment. Prior retail experience is beneficial, and you will work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and standards.
• Build relationships with customers using custom framing solutions and drive sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the frame department and related areas including replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Acknowledge customers and provide product solutions.
