Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a carpenter for contract-to-hire work across Twin Cities metro-area projects, based in Rochester, MN. You will build wood wall panels, roof trusses, and floor systems from blueprints, and maintain quality while meeting quotas.

Typical duties include reading layouts, measuring and cutting materials, using nail guns and saws, and ensuring safe, clean job sites. Onsite roles with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in carpentry or related fields.
• Good history of reliability and attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions from blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wood wall panels, roof trusses, and floor systems per drawings.
• Measure, cut, position, and secure lumber and materials.
• Operate hand tools, nail guns, saws safely and efficiently.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and work orders.
• Assist with material handling and loading for shipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free work areas.
