Job summary

Stella-Jones is seeking a Framer 2 to manufacture round stock products to established specifications in a safe, productive and efficient manner. The role involves inspecting stock to standards, operating framing tools, and maintaining the work area.

During the 90‑day probation, the Framer 2 may be reclassified to Framer 3 as training progresses. The position is backed by a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement within a large North American network.

Qualifications

• Inspects and classifies round stock to ANSI/ASTM or corporate standards.
• Operates hand and framing tools to cut, drill, brand, tag and prepare poles.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and verifies quality and classification of round stock.
• Operates framing tools to prepare poles for treatment.
• Documents and reports material processed.
• Maintains tools, equipment, supplies and work area.
• Assists in inspection of round stock products.
• Assists in receipt of materials and records information.
• Operates pole tag machine to manufacture aluminum tags.
• Supports safety program and company policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
