Job summary

Stella-Jones is seeking a Framer 2 to manufacture round stock to specs in a productive and safe manner at our Sheridan, Oregon facility. The role progresses to Framer 3 during a 90-day training period.

Responsibilities include inspecting stock per ANSI/ASTM standards, operating framing tools, keeping records, and maintaining a clean work area. Benefits include comprehensive plans and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Inspect and verify round stock quality to ANSI/ASTM standards.
• Operate hand and framing tools to cut, drill, brand and prepare poles.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work area.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify quality of round stock to standards.
• Operate framing tools to prepare poles for treatment.
• Document material processed and report findings.
• Maintain tidy work area and ensure tool readiness.
• Assist in receipt and tallying of materials and records.
• Operate pole tag machine to create aluminum tags as needed.
• Support safety program and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
