Job summary

Stella-Jones is seeking a Framer 2 to manufacture round stock products to ANSI/ASTM specifications at our Eugene, Oregon facility, in a safe and efficient production environment. You will inspect, prepare, tag and document material, operate framing tools, and support safety programs while maintaining tools, equipment and work area in good order.

During the 90‑day probation you will be promoted to Framer 3 upon demonstrating proficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate framing tools and read/specify standards (ANSI/ASTM)
• Ability to work safely in a production environment

Responsibilities

• Inspects and classifies round stock to ANSI/ASTM standards.
• Operates framing tools to cut, tag, and prepare poles for treatment.
• Documents material processed and reports results.
• Maintains tools, equipment, supplies and work area.
• Assists in inspection of round stock products.
• Assists in receipt of materials, tallying and records.
• Performs operation of full length and deep incisor as required.
• Operates pole tag machine to produce aluminum tags.
• Participates in the company safety program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
