Job summary

Stella-Jones Corporation seeks a Framer 2 to manufacture round stock products to spec in a productive, safe environment. You will inspect quality, operate framing tools, and document processes while maintaining equipment and assisting in material receipt.

During the 90-day probation, Framer 2 may be classified as Framer 3 during training until proficiency is reached, with reasonable accommodations for disabilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads and verifies quality to ANSI/ASTM standards.
• Basic ability to document and report material processed.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and verifies quality and classification of round stock to standards.
• Operates hand and framing tools to cut, drill, brand, tag, clean and prepare poles for treatment.
• Documents and reports material processed.
• Maintains tools, equipment, supplies and work area.
• Assists in inspection of round stock products.
• Assists in receipt of materials, tallying, identification, records and information.
• Operates pole tag machine to manufacture aluminum tags as required.
• Participates in company safety program.
