Eye Clinic of Wisconsin is seeking an Optician to help patients see and feel their best by guiding eyewear selections and ensuring tailored solutions. You will work with frame and lens options, take measurements, and verify accurate dispensing in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires ABO certification within one year, 1–2 years of optical experience, and the ability to communicate product options clearly while maintaining HIPAA compliance and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• ABO certification required within one year of hire.
• 1–2 years optical experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate lifestyle needs to tailor eyewear.
• Assist patients with frame and lens selection.
• Educate patients on all products and services offered by the dispensary.
• Acquire necessary measurements for frames and lenses.
• Be well versed in participating vision plans and insurance optical coverage.
• Place orders for optical merchandise and verify accuracy of eyewear before dispensing.
• Repair, clean, and adjust eyewear; address questions and concerns within expertise.
• Assist in marketing efforts of the optical department and clinic.
