Job summary

FinanceWithin, LLC is hiring a Client CFO (Director) to serve as a fractional CFO for a portfolio of consumer brands in e-commerce, retail and CPG. You’ll lead financial strategy, FP&A, and advisory, owning forecasting, modeling, capital planning and board reporting.

You’ll build scalable systems, templates, and automation to improve how work gets done, acting as a strategic partner to founders and investors while managing multiple client relationships in a remote-first, high-performance

Qualifications

• Strong experience in finance leadership roles (multi-client preferred).
• Deep understanding of consumer business models (DTC/retail/omni-channel).
• Strong FP&A and modeling skills with multi-year forecasting.
• Experience with QBO and NetSuite accounting systems.
• Ability to translate data into clear business insights for executives.
• Experience engaging with board-level stakeholders and founders.
• Comfort managing multiple client relationships in a fast-paced setting.
• Bonus: experience with AI tools and automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead Client Finance as fractional CFO for a portfolio of brands.
• Own FP&A, budgeting, cash runway, forecasting, and board reporting.
• Advise on fundraising, debt strategy, and capital allocation.
• Build dynamic 1/3/5-year financial models and rolling forecasts.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting systems for executives.
• Templatize and automate recurring work; improve client delivery.
