Job summary

Eightx is recruiting fractional and interim CFOs to help ecommerce and consumer brands scale value. You will drive earnings growth, demonstrate quality, and minimize risk, while coordinating weekly with founders through scorecards and capital allocation decisions.

You will lead a small team of analysts and accountants, acting as the trusted advisor founders rely on, with a remote, US/Canada/UK/Europe base. fluency in business English is required

Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance including CFO/VP Finance or senior FP&A leadership in a growth company.
• Background in PE, investment banking or transaction advisory plus operating experience.
• Proficient in three-statement modelling.
• Experience with lenders, investors, M&A or due diligence.
• Fluent business English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run a weekly operating rhythm with founders (scorecards, a three-year model, capital allocation and constraint decisions).
• Lead a small team of analysts and accountants underneath you.
• Be the trusted advisor founders call first.

Value = Earnings x Multiple, and Multiple = Growth + Quality - Risk: you will help clients grow earnings, prove their quality, and cut the risks a buyer, lender or investor discounts. You will run a weekly operating rhythm with founders (scorecards, a three-year model, capital allocation and constraint decisions), lead a small team of analysts and accountants underneath you, and be the trusted advisor founders call first.

Required: 10+ years in finance, including CFO, VP Finance or senior FP&A leadership in a growth company, or a background in PE, investment banking or transaction advisory plus operating experience; strong three-statement modelling; experience with lenders, investors, M&A or due diligence; fluent business English; the ability to coach and empathize. Remote, based in the US, Canada, the UK or Europe.
