DoorDash Labs in Bay Point, CA is seeking a highly skilled FPV Pilot for on-site, hands-on drone testing to advance next-generation UAS technologies. You will conduct flight tests, calibrations, and performance evaluations, delivering data-driven feedback to help engineering improve controls, tuning, and reliability.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required and will be verified.
• 100+ hours of logged FPV flight time.
• 1+ year of consistent acro mode flight experience under VLOS.
• Demonstrated experience with multi-rotor UAS operations.
• Proven FPV flying background with precise control in acro mode.
• Working knowledge of FAA small UAS regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate flight data into insights.
• Strong situational awareness and test-site safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Operate small to mid-size UAS platforms in acro mode within VLOS.
• Conduct test flights, calibrations, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to provide data-driven feedback.
• Maintain detailed logs of flight hours, aircraft condition, and anomalies.
• Support safety/compliance processes per FAA Part 107 and internal procedures.
• Participate in system validation with PX4, ArduPilot, Auterion, Herelink.
• Contribute to design reviews, prototype evaluations, and test readiness.
