Job summary

DoorDash Labs in Bay Point, CA is seeking a UAS Flight Test Operator I/II to join a hands-on field testing team validating new drone platforms.

You’ll execute test flights, perform pre- and post-flight checks, manage batteries, and coordinate on-site logistics while collaborating with engineers and operations to surface insights and drive iterative improvements. On-site role, local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Part 107 certification with 100+ flight hours in varied environments.
• Experience flying FPV/Acro Mode and operating drones in field tests.
• FAA certification verification and compliance knowledge.
• Familiarity with PX4, ArduPilot, Auterion or Herelink flight stacks.

Responsibilities

• Execute structured drone test flights in manual and autonomous modes.
• Perform pre- and post-flight checks, manage batteries and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to surface observations and drive improvements.
• Adapt to shift schedules, including early mornings and travel up to ~20%.
