Job summary

FastTrack Staffing in Michigan is seeking a reliable production associate to load/unload parts, inspect for defects, and ensure accurate tagging in Plex systems. You will follow work instructions, record production data, and stay productive in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be comfortable in a high-heat setting, able to stand all shift, and lift up to 50 lbs. This is a drug-free workplace requiring a pre-employment screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Comfortable in a high heat environment.
• Able to read and understand work instructions.
• Able to write and complete required paperwork and enter information into Plex system.
• Must have basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Able to stand 8+ hours per day.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts as part of daily duties.
• Load and unload parts from the line.
• Inspect parts for visual defects.
• Load parts into telesis and verify correct labeling.
• Visually inspect casting per customer requirements while keeping production flow.
• Record scrap or production data into Plex.
• Suggest improvements to complete tasks efficiently.
• Work in a dark room stamping the products.

Job Responsibilities

FPI load will load/unload parts.

Job Duties

• Loading and unloading parts off from the line.
• Inspecting parts for visual defects.
• Loading parts into telesis and verifying parts marked correctly.
• Visually inspect casting per customer requirements while maintaining production flow.
• Record scrap and/or production information into Plex.
• Recommend improvements for completing task and/or finishing improvement.
• Will also be required to work in a dark room stamping the products
