FastTrack Staffing is seeking a production operator in Michigan to ensure equipment operates within parameters and output meets quality standards. The role requires reading and following work instructions, documenting productivity, and handling materials safely in a high-heat environment.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, perform basic math, and lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in manufacturing and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Formación

• Experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Comfortable in a high heat environment.
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions.
• Must be able to write and complete required paperwork and enter information into Plex system.
• Must have basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsabilidades

• Ensures production equipment operates within parameters.
• Ensures castings meet customer quality requirements.
• Observes machines for malfunction and adjusts to maximize efficiency.
• Identifies scrap and separates from good product.
• Labels containers with quality, status and job number.
• Tracks and documents productivity in the production cell.
• Recommends improvements to production methods and equipment.
• Completes production documentation and enters data into Plex or other format.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures that production equipment is functioning within operating parameters correctly.
• Ensures that production equipment is producing or processing castings that meet the customer's quality requirements.
• Observes machines and equipment for malfunction and adjusts or repairs as directed to ensure that the equipment will operate at maximum efficiency, within operating parameters, safely and correctly.
• Identifies scrap and segregates it from product that meets customer specifications.
• Identifies all containers as to quality of product, status of product and part and/or job number.
• Accurately tracks and documents productivity information for the production cell, as directed.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Completes all production documentation and enters information into Plex or other format; ensures it is completed in a timely manner.
