Job summary

Envisioneering, Inc. is seeking a mid-level FPGA/Embedded Engineer to support US Navy defense programs. The role requires a BS in engineering, 5+ years FPGA/embedded experience, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

You’ll work on FPGA/back-end development for radar/RF systems in mixed Windows and Linux environments. Responsibilities include HDL development (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog), DSP, and embedded software in C/C++, developing tests, and integrating hardware with processors.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years FPGA development/embedded experience.
• Experience translating mathematical models to fixed-point FPGA implementations.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA/back-end for radar/RF systems and data processing.
• Create DSP routines and HDL implementations for high-frequency signals.
• Implement embedded firmware in C/C++ for bare-metal/RTOS.
• Develop and run testbenches and automated tests; validate against models.
• Support integration, debugging, and lab validation with equipment.
• Travel to test sites and customer facilities as needed.
