Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation's Peerless Instrument division seeks an Electrical Engineer specializing in digital hardware and FPGA development in East Farmingdale, NY. You will design, develop, and verify circuit card assemblies and FPGA firmware, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), 3+ years of relevant experience, VHDL/Verilog RTL, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years relevant work experience.
• US Citizen and must be able to obtain DoD security clearance.
• RTL coding / simulation / debugging using VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Experience designing FPGA and processor-based circuits.
• Siemens PADS experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify Circuit Card Assemblies and FPGAs.
• Develop FPGA designs in VHDL and debug hardware/firmware issues.
• Support requirements clarification and hardware/software interface definitions.
• Design and develop automated test fixtures for system testing.
